About The Newsletter Team
We are the Newsletter Team for the Pre-Medical Society at the University of Connecticut. As a team, we strive to convey the most current events and ideas within the realm of medicine. Each member of the team contributes to the site by posting their articles on subjects they have found interesting and worth discussing. In addition, each member has the opportunity to submit their articles into the Daily Campus here at the University of Connecticut.

I am a junior biological sciences and linguistics/psychology double major in the Honors program. This is my third year writing for the PMS Newsletter, and my first year as the Newsletter Committee Coordinator. I joined the newsletter committee to learn more about current events and research in the field of medicine. On campus, I am involved with many other clubs, such as Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness Program and the PATH mentoring program.

I am a junior majoring in Biological Sciences with a minor in Physiology & Neurobiology. I joined the committee because reading about current ideas/events within medicine has always been of interest to me and being on this committee aligns very well with that, as it allows me to take this interest further, both in the form of writing and discussion.
Fun Fact: I love eating burgers and traveling!

As an aspiring physician-scientist, I am very interested in oncology and hope to contribute to the therapeutic landscape of cancer. In addition to my academic pursuits, I enjoy playing the violin, strategizing card games with friends, and competing on the soccer field as well as the basketball court.

Hi, I am a sophomore here at UConn. I am currently a healthcare management major on the pre-med track and in my free time I really enjoy Bollywood dancing. I joined the newsletter committee because I wanted a way to be able to learn more about medicine and share what I learn with others.
